Bacteria overgrowth can be a cause of this. Also constipation or other pain can cause temper tantrums and bouts of hitting, kicking pinching and biting

Low muscle tone, yeast overgrowth, and inability for their body to process certain foods are all causes of constipation.

Hand posturing can be associated with zinc/copper imbalance- too high in copper or too high in zinc. A mineral imbalance may also cause joint and mucle soreness, nose bleeds and teeth grinding.

The cause is often food intolerance, usually gluten or casein. If you are sure that is not the problem look at yeast overgrowth
